Hugo says...

... he loves beds and he loves breakfasts! And if there's a beach thrown in for playing and exercise, it sounds like the cat's meow of a vacation!

The historic town of Hastings in East Sussex is famous for its connection with the battle of Hasting in 1066, although the actual site of the battle was Senlac Hill, some 8 miles north of Hastings. The castle in the town became the headquarters of William the Conqueror. The only remaining parts of the castle are the Arch and underground dungeons, but oh it would be fun to explore.

The Laindons Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of the town and would be a perfect base for a holiday. We could sleep in the sumptuous rooms of the lovely Georgian Town House then head out for a day of sightseeing, knowing our centrally heated, well appointed room awaits!

The Albert and Victoria Guest House beckons. Hugo says he'd feel like royalty sleeping in their lovely canopied beds and it's a 5 diamond property.

The Sea Spray B & B, a hastings bed and breakfast is rated 4 star. The rooms look cozy and comfy and the location couldn't be better. Imagine staying just a stones throw from the sea at Hastings, overlooking the Promenade, Hastings West Pier and the English Channel beyond.

Hugo says Hastings look like a wonderful place to visit and the Bed and Breakfast's look very inviting for a holiday.
